 Jesus Calling
Thank you for considering becoming one of our Host Conference locations. This  conference                                       is for middle and high school teen girls to address cultural issues specific to them and offer                                       wisdom in becoming a godly woman. The choices our young women make as they navigate their turbulent teen years affect who they are becoming long before they ever get to college or enter into adulthood. A recent One Hope Global Youth Culture U.S. Report found 51% of U.S. teens, ages 13 to 19, identify as Christians, but only 8% display beliefs and behaviors that are consistent with being committed to their faith. This report also revealed a higher percentage of teen girls than boys (38% teen girls and 29% teen boys) reported to be sexually active. As the body of Christ, we need to work together to teach our teenage daughters they are truly a Daughter of the King and how to accept God’s truth into their heart, and how doing so can help shape their identity and their life. We need to help them see God less as an iconic figure and more as an intimate friend, one who truly loves them and who is there to help them through the troubled waters of middle and high school, and who will be with them for the rest of their life.

Host Churches agree to provide our Young Women's Conference 100% free of any charge or fee to the girls attending. Your In Their Shoes Young Women's Conference must be open to all girls in 6th through 12th grade in your local school district. If your local middle and high school district has a small enrollment of teen girls, you may want to have an other church(s) in adjoining school district(s) in your county combine with you. We have two options for hosting an In Their Shoes: A Journey of Revelation and Empowerment Young Women’s Conference:

Option 1 Host Church Handles Everything - $1,000.00 plus shipping of Conference Kit to your location
A Conference Kit is prepared to serve up to 100 girls. Each kit will contain four DVD videos, one for each             of the four workshops to show how each workshop works as well as a printed copy of required content             for each workshop. The Host Church will provide a facilitator to present each workshop and guide and             control discussion of the content.

The Conference Kit will contain 120 Conference Bags, 100 Conference Notebooks with outline notes for                each workshop, 120 conference ink pens, 120 charm bracelets, 120 of each of the 12 conference  charms,              and 120 conference t-shirt iron-on transfers. The Host Church will provide the t-shirts and apply the             transfers. (Please note the extra 20 pieces of some items is for your volunteers) We request any unused             items be returned to us to help with costs on future conferences.

The Conference Kit will be mailed upon receipt of the Conference Contract with a firm Conference Date              and payment.  We suggest a minimum lead time of two months for promotion of your conference and                  also time for  your workshop leaders and emcee for the opening program, lunch program and closing                  program to prepare.

Option 2 Host Church requests one or more of In Their Shoes Conference personnel to facilitate workshops
This option works well if your church does not have enough volunteers qualified or confident to             facilitate one or more of the workshops. Thus, everything is the same as Option 1 plus additional             charge for transportation, lodging and meals for the people requested for 2 nights. We do not charge             for our time. The blessing of a Love Offering would be permissible but not expected. This option is             subject to our staff availability for your conference date.

Basic requirements for a Host Church, regardless of which option is selected are:

1. The Host Church will select a date for their conference and will promote registration of girls in 6th through 12th grades in their local school district. Our Tips for Recruitment provides proven resources for reaching teen girls in your school district.
